We want everyone on TwoFingers to have a great and safe experience, so we’ve added lots of safety features right from when you sign up. Our focus on safety has enabled us to be entrusted by many.
Some of the things we do to keep you safe include using advanced AI technology, verifying everyone’s age, and using special tools to check text and images for profanity. Plus, we have a team who work round the clock to make sure everything on the platform is safe and to respond quickly to in-app reports.
Our Community Guidelines.
At TwoFingers, we prioritise mutual respect through our Community Guidelines. We have clear rules in place to ensure that conversations between users reflect the same respect they would show in person.
When you join TwoFingers, you’ll need to read and agree to our guidelines, and we regularly remind users about these standards. Using a combination of AI, human oversight, and technology-based moderation, we monitor activity on TwoFingers to identify and address any breaches of our guidelines that could be harmful to users or others. Our guidelines cover a range of topics, including harassment, nudity, sexual behavior, hate speech, drugs, and more.
Joining TwoFingers
When a new user signs up for TwoFingers, we request a few key pieces of information:
- Date of Birth: TwoFingers caters to users aged 13 to 24, with separate communities for different age groups. For example, a 14-year-old user can only interact with peers aged 13, 14, and 15.
- Username and Gender: Users can select their username and gender.
- In-App Real-Time Photo: A photo taken within the app helps Yoti’s age estimation technology confirm the accuracy of the provided birthdate.
- Community Guidelines: New users receive our guidelines, which they must read and agree to. They can then personalize their TwoFingers profile with a bio, favorite emojis, extra photos, and tags related to their interests such as TV shows, games, or sports.
To verify the age and identity of our users, TwoFingers employs various methods:
- Yoti’s Age Estimation: This feature requires a live photo to match the user’s date of birth.
- Identity Consistency Checks: We monitor for any inconsistencies in age information during signup, within user profiles, or during interactions. Any uncertainties regarding age or identity result in the user being unable to register.
- Image Verification: All images on the platform undergo verification to maintain a safe environment.
Content Moderation
We’ve partnered with unique software collaborators that combine Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human oversight to maintain a safe environment on TwoFingers.
Our system alerts our safety experts whenever any text, image, or video violates our Community Guidelines or suggests harmful behavior. For example:
- We carefully review all TwoFingers profiles and notify users of any inappropriate content.
- We monitor all chats using cutting-edge text and image moderation technologies to quickly identify and address improper behavior, ensuring compliance with our Community Guidelines.
Violations of our guidelines prompt an investigation, followed by appropriate actions. Depending on the severity of the violation, this may involve temporarily restricting features or a temporary or permanent ban from the TwoFingers platform.
Reporting Another User
We encourage all users to report any inappropriate content, behavior, or concerns within the TwoFingers community for our attention. Users can provide up to four media attachments, such as screenshots or videos, to give our safety team more information.
Our safety experts thoroughly review each report and take action on verified violations.
